  1. You're gambling... not investing.........................

  2. you are crazy. better put your money in General Electric. Ford doesnt have any value.

  3. you migh be ok

  4. I think you might be alright in the long run at this point. I hope your not putting more into it than you can afford though. If it's an extra $5,000+ you have to play with you should be alright. If it's all you have definitely invest somewhere else.

I think this company has finally figured out they need to make changes in the business in every way from labor costs to product development. They have said this and have been acting upon these things. They have a ways to go before the company is turned around and profitable again but I think they will survive and although the stock is dangerously low I think they will be one of the companies that turns it around. Time will tell so if you have the extra money and time to wait I say it's probably a moneymaker that will payoff down the road.

Most big profits come from buying good companies at sale prices when they are low. This company use to be a good company but they need to prove themselves all over. I'm not much of a bottom feeder so I wouldn't buy it but good luck to you if you do.

  5. It's your money!

It seems more likely that Ford will continue to flounder, and that with it's stock price already flirting with a value below $5/share, it will be delisted from the NYSE.  In the context of the problems the entire auto industry is having, it does not seem that unlikely that Ford will declare some sort of reorganization (read "bankruptcy"), or be absorbed by some other manufacturer.  In either of these cases, your shares would lose all their value.

Ford shares have a "book value" of only $3 and change, so don't be surprised if it goes even lower. JMHO
