I am 21 years old, 6ft, athletic build and play off about 17. I have just started to get back into golf and want to purchase a Benross V6 Trimass hybrid 2loft club, however i dont know what shaft to get. Stiff or regular.

150 yards to green i usually take a 7-8 iron, and hit my driver just over 250yards (which is a King Cobra 400SZ). I like the flex in this club but cannot understand the markings on it! It says Aldila HM Tour 50; Lite Flex/Low Kick/50g on the shaft. Is this stiff or regular?!

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks

  1. stiff shaft hahahahahahaha

  2. You sound hot.

  3. i prefer a stiff shaft myself!!!

  4. It looks like your swing speed is less than 100MPH with your driver. I'd recommend a regular flex. Go to a club fitter and he'll be able to better determine what flex you need.

  5. Whatever flex shaft you have on your woods, be sure to get the same flex shaft for your hybrid. If you cannot decipher the printing on your present shafts, take the club along with you when you go to purchase the hybrid. Good idea?

  6. Lite flex is comparable to a senior flex. I would think that is too much flex for you unless you have a very low swing speed. It can cause more inconsistency with the direction of your shot if the club is flexing too much. I'd recommend going to a shop that has a hitting area and let them diagnose your swing. Likely you will need at least a regular flex.

  7. That flex is the same as senior flex.  Use either regular or stiff.  If you have a strong upper body, go for a stiff flex.
