  1. 5 ... and I am an Apple fan. They don't make good phones, at all..to many glitches, not enough support. I'm just not a fan of the iPhone - why have such a neat device and have it on the worst network out there..it's pointless. You might as well have a blackberry and just use it to make calls.

  2. I would honestly give it a 3.

    It's c**p!

    2MP camera

    No video

    No zoom

    No flash

Can't edit documents, can only view

Locked to O2 (In the UK)

    No easy way of unlocking

    Can't replace battery by yourself

If you unlock it, it voids the warranty

No easy way of transferring contacts from a different SIM card

Buttons that appear for texting are small

Basically, for what there is on the market, it's c**p. If you want a phone that can do everything you want and more, get a Samsung Omnia (8GB or 16GB) or wait for the Sony Xperia X1... Those phones are better by a long shot! I'm waiting for the Xperia myself. Should be a quality phone. Apple are c**p and the phone will totally break as soon as the warranty runs out.

    I R knowledge.

  3. I'm planning to buy an iphone too. I think it's good because it's like an ipod and a cellphone in 1. But if you're really after the phone, may be you should try Samsung Omnia.

  4. I know the people that own it would give it a 7.5, but I'd give it an 8.5.

  5. design-9

its a beautiful device with a nice screen

    power-3

    it doesnt support multitasking

    features-2

it lacks features most phones support

it does have wifi, so thats why this isnt a 1

    build quality-1

highest defect rating of any phone on the market

3 seperate class action suits in 3 countries over terrible reception, crashing apps, and phone

  6. ok so:

    design -7.4

    features - 7.1

    Performance - 7.2

What's the point in your new device looking just like your old device? What's the point of having a GPS receiver when there is no navigation software for it?

OK, there's the 3G with HSDPA. Now HSDPA is way faster than EDGE we agree, and as far as we are concerned, that's the only selling point of the iPhone 3G.

    Main disadvantages:

No video calls over the 3G network

The handset wobbles on hard even surfaces

There are a number of messaging downers

Camera has no auto focus, nor video recording… nor any settings at all

Safari browser doesn't support Flash and Java, doesn't have a download manager

Bluetooth support limited to headset use only (no A2DP or file transfers)

    No office document editor

    No copy/paste functionality

You cannot sync Notes and TO-DOs

No memory card slot (but knowing Apple there will never be one)

Conclusion: If you really like having ultimate high tech and else, and are fan of apple, buy the iphone. If you just want a cellphone to hear music, and do cool things, buy a sony ericsson or other phone and buy the ipod touch....
