I'm thinking of doing an ECDL course and wondered if it was worth the money?

Has anyone done this course and found its improved their job prospects or as an employer would it make you consider employing someone who has it? I already have about 5 years admin experience, but no certificate to prove my computing skills.

i have an ECDL and it helped inasmuch as it shows you are willing to learn and you are up to date with new packages.  The course is real easy though. x

Dunno where you're from but I'm in Ireland and I know in a lot of office type jobs here it's often required! I guess it depends on the type of job you want but for anything with computers it does look good cause it shows you have the right skills!

It depends,the computer jobs is something that you don't have to prove with paper,just show your skills,may be they will give you some practical test .
