  1. Regarding the weather - terrible! This was always my biggest complaint about life in Japan. And it becomes a factor because usually you must commute by train, subway, bus or walk/bike - you just can't get in a car and drive everywhere you want to go. At least not in Tokyo.

You didn't specify what city, but I'll assume Tokyo/Yokohama:

November - April: winter, think cold like New York City.

May - June: rainy season, think rain & cloudy skies like Seattle.

July - September: hot & humid summers

October: the only good weather month!

  2. People are friendly.

    Everything is expensive.

Weather is hot down by Okinawa and cold up in Hokkaido. Usually somewhat warm in Tokyo. Doesn't get as cold as many places in USA.

  3. You're not "shore" ???

You're either 12 years old, or beautiful, dumb as a brick, and married to a rich man.
