I'm thinking of moving to Tampa, because there seems to be a lot more jobs there than in...?

the St. Petersburg area and those surrounding towns, which is where I currently live. I am wondering if I can get a cheap place to live in Tampa, without a lot of seedy people. I would like to pay in the 500 dollar range, but not if I have lots of drug dealers, welfare queens, and prostitutes hanging around.

How about putting some resumes out and try and find the job before you move.  Moving in just the hope of a job could end badly.
