I'm thinking of switching to Vonage phone ..what are the pros and cons ?

I have had vonage since september and it has never worked finally I tried to close the account I spoke to a representative and they stated to write in a letter since the service never worked to not receive disconnection fees of 129.88. Then I didn't receive a reply to my letter and they charged my credit card the disconnection fee without even advising me and have attempted to charge it three times since then.

I don't like Vonage.  It's over rated and the services is not all that great.  I use Globalinx and I love them.  They are another VoIP company.  Check out this website.

I have vonage and have no complaints. However if your power goes out that will shut down the router so you wont be able to make calls. If you have a cell too that doesnt really matter. You should also check out Skypes offering I havent looked into that one yet because Im happy with Vonage.

I have Vonage. I think it's very good and very cheap. I even paid 1 year in advance to get a slightly cheaper rate.
