the novel will be set in 363 bc greece , it will be about the last surviving spartan warrior in the greek army , and is asked by the gods to defend greece from attacking army's and also hades has now seen his chance to convert the people of greece to praise himself rather than his brother zeus, and trys to bully the people of athens by sending his army of undead to slaughter civilians and burn the buildings of greece.

  1. No offense, but judging by the grammar in your synopsis, you're in need of a few more English/writing/grammatical classes before starting on a novel.

  2. It's awful. Do not write it, cause greeks were not fools in 363 BC. They were the most developed nation in the world. Also one Spartan cannot have survived from the wars, as Spartans won or died. The Spartan mothers gave the shield to their sons, telling them to return from the war "either bearing it (winners), or lying over it (dead)". No other options.

  3. If the attacking army is Hades', than it's a GREAT storyline.  If there's another army attacking though (hope not Persia), than it might be too complicated.

  4.    This has definite possibilities. With strong characters, subplots, twists, creativity, and a lot of research behind you, this could go far! Develop it further, come up with a strong protagonist as well as strong secondary characters; appeal to human needs and sympathies. Good luck!

  5. dude i think that sounds good... especially if u bring in the Titan Cronos the son of Gaia and father of Zeus.

is your spartan warrior some what like Kratos?  you know like when he de-thrones Ares as the God of war? u could bring in Poseidon,Athena and even Atlas. Plus all the old mythological beasts.. it would be very cool... i would pay to see that ****. best of luck. p.s im just ******* with ur c**p idea. i totally agree with the guy above me.. right on brother

  6. Cheese, suitable for anime or a superhero comic.

My honest answer is that it sounds like a plot line based on an episode of Xena, warrior princess and shows only a mild familiarity with Greek mythology or history.

Then again anything that doesn't sound like it is based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer is welcome these days.

  7. that sounds REALLY good

personally i wouldn't read it but it sounds really interesting and i'm sure there are tons of people who would.

    you should finish it.

    Good Luck

[i'm thinking of writing a novel myself]

  8. sounds like it would also make for a great video game.  you should title it god of war.

  9. yes this is good. I'd read it.

  10. I realize you're writing fiction, but Greek mythology does not include undead. It would make a fascinating story if he can find some type of army though. Maybe he could recruit among disenfranchised Romans?

  11. Umm...it's something my brother would read . I'm not much of a history person, but good luck :)
