and have these options:

1) Our own house which is being sold. No pool, but good entertainment center and a good location

2) A friend's house with good pool, poor entertainment center, hard to find location

3) a restaurant that charges to reserve space that people can pop into/out of in a good location.

4) A friend's party pad w a pool, but in a very poor location (30+ miles away for most of the attendees)

Concerns: Limited budget would allow for restuarant reservation cost, but guests would have to purchase own food/beverages.

Would like people to feel like they can relax and share memories with us.

Don't want people to be too hot (live in AZ) or too bored.

Ready...set...go!

  1. entertainment center shouldn't really matter unless you plan on spending the whole time indoors watching TV? (which I hope you don't!)

pool party would be awesome and would allow guests to hang out outside- just stick a detailed map into each invitation and have your phone number on the invite JIK they need help finding it.

restaurant is nice also and allows a nice atmosphere for everyone. see if you can find a place that doesn't charge you to rent a space if you order a bunch of appetizers or something.

it really depends on what you'd like to do at your party- pool more casual, restaurant more classy and night out costs more though, and at your house you can find games to play or make it some type of themed event maybe also for more fun?

I personally like the pool idea best

  2. 1

  3. Meet at your home first and have a coctail or two with some snacks then caravan over to your friends home and enjoy the pool..(2).  don't worry about the music ...  you can easily caravan back to your home for the good music and and some dancing.

    Good Luck
