I'm tired of current food advertizing?

Even though it's about GETTING money and more costumers, I believe most food advertizing today is messed up. While I was watching WWE Monday Night RAW, I came across a Quiznos commercial. They RIPPED OFF Subway BIG TIME. Now Quiznos is selling footlongs for 5 bucks. I also, one day, came across several Burger King commercials. Whopper Jr. went to Subway and said: "You ain't got nothin'!"

One time they went to Wendy's and Whopper Jr. and Chicken Sandwich ordered a Whopper. Wendy's didn't have those so the clerk recommended a baked potato. Whopper Jr. said: "Baked potato! What are we in Russia!?"

As I said before, I know it's for costumers, but my examples are like huge slaps and middle fingers in the face to these other leading competitors. You agree with me?

  1. It's not just for politicians anymore.  It does get annoying.

  2. these companies have to make money one way or another

  3. I can see that you don't understand marketing or economics. No one is ripping off anyone else. In fact, they are COMPETIING. The food business is competing against every other organization. That's the way it goes.

These marketing campaigns are to generate buzz about their product (they are trying to attract "customers" not "costumers") and get people in the door. Personally, I dislike them and change the channel (just like I would with any wrestling "show") whenever they come on.

So, when all is said and done, I disagree with you.
