I enjoy finding new bands/singers/acts to listen to on a regular basis. Anyone hear of any new up and coming acts??? I'd appreciate it.

  1. Have you try myspace?is a great way of finding new bands and stuff.

  2. I dont know where your from but im in Maine and there is a local band here called PARANOID SOCIAL CLUB that everyone seems to like. They are an Indy rock band. I think they were signed to a small label, so you should be able to find their stuff on the net.

Here is the link to their site

If you like the first band I mentioned then you'll like RUSTIC OVERTONES as well. This band has the same singer and was around first in Maine. They actually had a video on mtv. But the band broke up for some reason and  then a couple years later PARANOID SOCIAL CLUB was formed.

    well, here is the link

  3. i dont know what kind of music your into. i go between all different kinds. but i tend to stick to punk music. a few of my favorite bands are fenix tx, zebrahead, nofx, story of the year, less then jake, yellow card, mxpx, older blink 182.

check out zebrahead.com ive been telling everyone about this punk band. i discovered them in highschool a few years back. they have a cd called playmate of the year thats hilarious!

when im not listening to punk i go between everything. rock i listen to slipknot, disturbed, lincoln park, staind, pap roach, etc.. country tim mcgraw, carrie underwood, leann rhimes, blake shelton, andy griggs, newer country. brad paisley has a funny song called celebrity thats funny as well. theres this country song i cant remember who is from but the songs called loco. talks about i might be a little bit loco but a little bit crazys alright. it makes me smile anyways. then you have to stick with your classics. boston, journey, ect.. even hairbands like guns n roses and poisin. go to cd resale shops and see of there are any classics you like. sometimes they have bonus tracks you never heard of.

i know all those you have probably heard of. but the only weird and unusual ones i know come from punk music. i get like that too. all you can do is search the internet or change the station and hope once you go back to an old favorite there is something new. and you could always invest in satilite radio...
