  1. Easy way ... wikipedia: (and I also live in Sydney too)

    Sydney:

Population: 3,641,422 (urban area, 2006 census)

    Area: 1687 sq. km

    London:

Population: 7,512,400 (official mid 2006, within Greater London)

Area: 1577.3 sq. km (Greater London)

So I guess it depends on how you want to measure it.

By area they are fairly close, but by population London wins hands down, especially if you go on the total metropolitan area population, estimated at around 12 - 14 million - there is no way Sydney can compete with numbers that big.  That figure is far more than half of Australia's total population of around 21 million.

  2. I guess so but you could also check by google or wikipedea.

  3. no way. sydney is large in terms of size because it has expanded to include farms outside the center, but there are no where near a s many people in sydney.

  4. No way, Sydney is a villiage compared to London.

  5. In Area Sydney Area: 12144.6 km² (4689.1sq mi)

    - Greater London 609 sq mi (1,577.3 km²)

But population is no where near. Our country's entire population is 21 million & London Metro has 12-14 million

Sydney population density 345.7/km² (895.4/sq mi)

London population density 12,331/sq mi (4,761/km²)

Sydney & Melbourne are huge Cities in area but have alot of land Per capita.
