I live in a rented apartment that's furnished. The bed I was provided is a twin XL and I'm too tall for the bed. The bed has both headers and footers that are attached to the frame, and i always wake up in some awkward angle with my feet flat against the footer. I cannot flip the bedframe over. What can I do, is it possible to remove the footer from my frame?

  1. remove the whole frame store it at a sfe place get thick foam to match the new ht of bed on floor take a full size flat sheet ton wrap foam extention and sleep well

  2. Standard bed lengths are about 75 inches long, or 6'3". There are some beds for sale on the market that are longer for those who are tall but if you don't want to spend money for your sleeping pleasure, consider removing the header and footer, placing the box spring and mattress on the floor. I used to do that when renting a furnished apartment and the bed was a seismic monitor of passing pedestrians and vehicular traffic. It may seem a little odd but you'll bring out your inner aesthetic decorator.

  3. you have two options dear,,,either you can cut or remove the footer of your bed or {the second way}you can cut your legs short....oh i found third option for you why dnt you start sleeping on floor?oh my god fourth option...JUST CHANGE YOUR BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

  4. try shrinking it works or get one specially made for you

  5. throw another mattice on top

  6. Remove the foot board from the bed and put blocks of some sort under the frame to hold the mattress level.  Try and find a bench that would be the same height as the mattress top when you add a pillow or folded up blanket on top of it and place it at the foot of the bed.  Use strings to tie it to the mattress frame if it moves away while you sleep.
