  1. Most of the shops would be closed on the first day of the year, which is Feb.17th, 07.


  2. Big shops close during Tet but there are still women selling goods and food on the pavement.

    It's a very good moment to touring Hanoi, as you can see Dragon dances on the streets, ceremonies in pagodas and many other things. Don't worry and have a nice trip

  3. I spent Tet in Hanoi about six years ago, and it was great.  True, some stores may be closed, but it is completely worth it.  Everyone will be out celebrating, and the parades and lion dances are amazing.  

    Vietnam is a very user-friendly country when it comes to travel.  No matter what time of year, you shouldn't have any real problems getting around the country.
