I'm traveling to Ireland. Will they give me a hard time w/ hotels, flights, etc because of my age?

  1. No. The age of being an adult is 18 period. There is no higher age limit in Ireland and as long as you have ID will not have any issues.

    Priscilla is actually incorrect. Bars cannot refuse you once you can prove your over 18 however one weird and pointless law is that anyone under 21 must produce ID. This begs the question, how do you prove your 22???

  3. No, you won't have any problems at all. The only issue you might have is getting into bars. It is strictly over 18 and in many places they operate an over 21 policy, so expect to be asked for ID.  

  4. NO ! As long as you conduct yourself accordingly, have the right paperwork, and money to support yourself, you shouldn't have any problems. People are the same, the world-over. If you act like a jackass, they will treat you like a jackass !
