I'm travelling by myself in 2009-really scared, going to Orient/OZ/NZ/Fiji - where can I find travel buddies?

It looks like I am travelling alone in 2009 to the China/Thailand/Australia and New Zealand and am a woman by myself so am a little bit nervous - so I would really like to meet like minded trustworthy people who dont mind sharing a travelling experience of a lifetime on a budget!

Someone about 21-34 who like me - wants to have this experience before they settle down etc!

Ideally they will be in a relationship like I am - but just want 4 months travelling before they head back home and be grown up!!!

My departure date and time frame ar e flexible but i would like to get something planned sooner rather than later??

Why dont you join up with tour groups in those countries? It will be a million times safer, than travelling with some random person that you dont know... At least with a group, you know you will be safe, and can go out together during the night, you'll also have tour guides, that will usually escort you as well...

got to Meetup.com and type in travel or orient or fiji and they will possibly list groups of people who are traveling or have traveled to those places to give you good advise or meetup.
