I'm travelling to China on Qantas Economy and am wondering whether my laptop counts in the 7kgs carryon limit?

I've got a carry on luggage bag, as well as a laptop bag I was planning on carrying with me. I've got about 4kilos in my carry on already, and my laptop weighs about 2.5. So does the laptop count towards the weight limit, or is it considered separate?

  1. Normally one is allowed to carry it separately; apart from hand baggage.

    But best call the airlines and check. Call them Toll free.
