I'm travelling to Dublin at the end of the month and I'm so scared! Could you tell me some information about Dublin? Is it a good place? Is it worth going there?

  1. Ireland is lovely this time of year. Remember they use the Euro, not the USD$, don't get into conversations about the Catholics and Protestants fighting, beware of pickpockets at the airport, if you're old enough (over 16) try a shandy and a guiness while you're there and see Trinity College, the Liffie River, one of the old castles, go golfing and take a trip through the Guiness factory. Stay in a bed and breakfast lodging if you can and steer clear of white or black pudding- you really don't want to know what's in it. Buy a cable knit sweater, a bit of waterford glass and some kinderbueno candy bars.

  2. Pfft you dont have to be over 16 to drink! Trust me.......  But irish pubs are like no other, and all around good time!  The clubs can be a good time too, but very different than american ones.. (if thats even where youre from!)   You can shop in dublin, and just enjoy the sites..  Are you goin to be goin to other parts of the country other than Dublin?  I would suggest that.

  3. Ok watch out for the pick pockets and muggers

If someone asks you to watch his car then runs away quickly panic!!! its normally a bomb...

Churches are neutral grounds when riots break out which is often.

Pretending your english is always good for a laugh.

Stab proof and bullet proof vests are a must even at the beach.

Pog-mo-thoin( powg mu hone ) is hello in irish

Enjoy your stay at the emerald isle
