I'm travelling on my own with easy Jet for the first time.

Is it true that when I get on the plane I can sit whenever I want??? and that they don't have tickets?? Is there anything else I should know about travelling with easy Jet?

  1. its classed as free seating so sit anywhere its always a ramble to get on first so be at the gate early. just check in with your passport, check flight online 48hr in advance, check bagange allowance and charges and dont expect silver service!

  2. They do have tickets, however the times I've been on EasyJet there haven't been many people so therefore once everyone is onboard you can sit in empty seats or change with your friend or something. The handluggage space is very small. I would say don't take handluggage bigger than a laptop length-wise. I don't know if you can say this but the cabins to put in your luggage are probably laptop-squared, if you know what I mean. Like metre-squared.

    Hope I helped, good luck!

  3. No proper tickets, just the email confirmation. When you check in they'll give you a boarding pass like normal. You can pay for 'speedy boarding' which means you'll be in the first 'group' to board the plane. Then, the people who checked in first get to go (group a) and then everyone else (group b). They'll tell you what group you're in when you check in. I'm usually in group b, and have never had a problem getting a window seat. Whatever someone said above is not true, they do not provide meals, however there is a menu with snacks and hot sandwiches that you can buy. There aren't tv's on the backs of seats, and i've never seen any in flight entertainment (however, i've never been on one of their flights for more than 1h20m.) Expect delays, but for the price, i can't complain!

  4. yeah.. its true it don't matter what ticket you have if your in group A or B you have to wait until elderly n disabled, then babies up to the age of 2 go on board 1st, so really you are left with the very back seats... lol n there's no TV in front of you just screens that drop down every 3 seats?

i traveled with them last week, seats arnt all that great n theres only 2 toilets at the back n front

    but its was all right...

  5. ive flown with easy jet many times,

yes they do give u tickets and assigned seat. ryan air allows u to sit where you want btut not easy jet, i flew with them to greece about 3 weeks ago and we had to sit where they told us. they give u meals on the plane just to let you know

and if ur flying into germany, its going to be quite a bumpy landing

  6. im also interested in knowing about easy jets
