I am a freshman in HS, trying out for the 15 year old ones, though I'm 14 - but I'm suppose to do 15's. I played volleyball for 2-3 years in junior highh. I missed the reg. season this year at school because I came late. So, I don't really know what they're looking forr.

I'm just going to try out to see if I make it, just for fun (: so, please - no put downs ?

  1. To play in Junior Olympics (JO), you have to join a club team that is affiliated with it.

  2. ok try ur best.

    good luckk.

  3. OMG...i want to try out!!! when are tryouts?

  4. haha, GOOD LUCK!

    =]

    hope u make it!

best of luck.my wishes to ya!

  5. Jr. Olympic is not a volleyball club/team, it's a tournament, you have to enter a club that's in your area, you have to be REALLY AGGRESSIVE and REALLY SKILLED. go for POWER league because they go into the Jr. Olympics. Jr. Olympics are a HUGE deal and i really advise you to tryout for Power League that's near you.

  6. It will depend on what level of team you are trying out for.

    (regional or national)

Also skill, and time commitments will be different for each club.

If the club you are trying out for has a website i suggest you check it out.

Generally speaking, they are going to look for good players. But, they are also going to look for good teammates. They will look for players in each position that will work well with the players in the other positions.

They may pick a player that doesn't do as well, but is athletic, coachable, and seems to get along with people.

    so try your best.

    & good luck.
