I'm trying to build a reliable flamethrower for home defense?

Question

I'm using a well-known recipe of chopped Styrofoam and gasoline. It seems to work better than OJ concentrate and gas. Anyways, I'm looking for a some sort of heat-resistant epoxy for tight seals around the tanks and the nozzle. Any ideas?

first off...thats the dumbest thing that i have ever heard of. now that that is out of the way, styrofoam and gas makes "napalm" which would gum up anything you shot it out of. second Gas+Super Soaker+a small propane torch taped to the end (try one of the ones for cooking, they are small to save you room in drawers) third dont ever ask how to do something stupid on yahoo answers...i mean come on, your lucky too many people like to comment on trollers...good luck...dont burn yourself alive

I think it's legal to have a flamethrower. For a good epoxy go to a auto parts store and get a tube of epoxy for repairing fuel tanks. It comes in a round stick with the hardener in the middle. You just cut off a piece and kneed it. You got 4 minutes to install it after it becomes one color.

I am assuming you got OJ and gas from fight club...that doesn't actually work...they said that because of the controversy in telling people how to make napalm in a blockbuster movie.  But have fun burning yourself alive...make sure you write us when you get arrested! lol...fun question though...makes a lot of people flip out!

and OJ concentrate and gas?? that dont make sense.

heat resistatn epoxy?? cement glue might work(im quessing ok) or something like that...... or what you could do is look toward using clamps or something where you can apply a lot of pressure around the seal without having to use glue.

remember to think outside the box....

Well the only thing i know of is taking tennis balls, and making a hold in them. Then take the heads of matchsticks and fill it up to the top with them. Seal the hole with putty, and when you throw it and i stricks the ground it will catch on fire.

do you live in mexico? because it sounds like you have a hills of the eyes' problem there. i don't think normal people make flame throwers for defense.
