I have a macbook with superdrive, so I should be able to burn dvd's, but I don't know how?

I want to duplicate some already existing DVD's, but my daughter is starting to ruin them, I just would like to be able to have backups :) HELP!

  1. Only certain PC's will burn them - sory to say I dont actually know how! Hope you werent really planning on selling them ;)

  2. Hi ASL,

    DVDs are copy protected.

If they are DVDs you own you legally can make backups for your own use.

You have to bypass the copy guard. To do this you need a program like AnyDVD. AnyDVD makes the copy guard invisible and any copy program will then copy it.

To read about and get a free trial of any DVD go here - http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html

They also offer a great copy program called "Clone DVD". You can choose to delete extra languages, subtitles etc. As a result your movie requires less compression and your picture is better. You can read about & try it free here - http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonedvd.html
