I'm trying to connect my computer to my hdtv. the goal is to use my tv screen as my computer screen?

I need help figuring out if i have a tv tuner card then help trying to hook up my tv to my computer, but to still be able to watch tv when i want. Any help would greatly be appreciated

just plug a cable from you're tellybox (telewest, sky, freeview box) and plug you're computer in to you're tv screen. just use the cable that plugs into you're computer moniter. then get a program called "hypermedia"
