What I need to know is the street dollar for Percocet, Lortabs, and 600mg Ibuprofen pills. I don't want the value the police say it is, because when I was a kid they said things like an ounce of weed was worth $4000 and stuff, and that just was not true.

  1. Don't worry about the money. What you need to be worrying about it your son. That is a serious situation.

  2. I would say maybe not worry so much about the $$ aspect of it but get your son the help that he so apparantly needs. Having to "earn money from you to pay you back" is not going to help the siutaion OR keep him from using drugs if he's at the point where he's buying pills.

  3. I think your concern is in the wrong place. Shouldn't you be worried that he is taking these pills and doing drugs??? I would be finding him help...not worrying about your money. Come on now.....

  4. well percocets go for $3-6 a pill, depending on the dosage. Lortabs are about the same. As far as 600mg ibuprofen......y would he even buy those? take 3 advil, same thing.

  5. percoset, dunno I would assume a bbit higher than lortabs

lortabs - 5-12$ depending on strength

    Ibuprofen????????????????????????? 25 cents maybe LOL

but street price depends on where you live.

  6. He needs to go see his pediatrician. Drug  use is dangerous. You have every right to be outraged, but he needs professional help. Also don't give him cash for anything. If he needs something you go out and buy it directly for him.

Also take a close look at his friends. They are not responsible for his choices, he is. But they could be part of the problem or the supply.

Giving him any money means that you are facilitating his drug usage.

  7. I think you should put him in rehab and forget about the money!

The kid has a problem...and there are MANY MANY kids getting addicted to prescription drugs and they don't know what they are taking...they just take it for the effects it has on their bodies.....(high feeling)

but mixing prescriptions is a deadly game and there WILL come a time when he mixes something he shouldn't together and will get sick..have side effects...or possibly die!!!

I would be more concerned about this first.........

Who cares how much of YOUR money was spent on the drugs!

  8. So your concerned about the money he owes you but dont want to get him help for his drug issue? Why dont you find him help and not worry about the money.

  9. Ibuprofen doesn't really have a street value, and you can't really get high on it - it's the kind of medicine that parents can buy bottles for their teenage daughters to put in their purses and not worry a bit. You can get a whole bottle of them over the counter for only a couple dollars, so I wouldn't worry about the money there.
