I'm trying to find a Vista computer from an XP machine using all Netgear products, how?

On XP, I click on "my networks" and I can see another XP box that is on the network, but not a vista laptop. How can I fix this??? Also, I cannot get the driver to an Epson XP Stylus CX4800 to work with the scanning capabilities.

First, make sure the work group name on the Vista machine is the same as your XP machines. MS changed the default name when they released Vista

Next make sure File and Print Sharing is enabled on all machines

Then go to the MS Knowledge base (use the link below) and download the LLTD utility and load it on the XP machines

Finally, have the Vista drivers for the printer handy, when you install the printer as a network printer on the Vista Machine
