Question:

I'm trying to find a blanket with tags all around it...

My son is obsessed with tags. I can give him a blanket, a toy, clothes, whatever, and all he will do is find the tag on it and play with that.

I've heard of blankets with tags all around the edges but I can't seem to find one.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I could find one?

  1. I found them at toys r us!

  2. I wish I knew about these blankets.  I ended up cutting off the tags from half of my, and my husbands clothing and sewing it onto a blanket.  I am guessing this is where that idea came from.  From now on knowing that they can be sold that way, any one I know that has a child I will gladly buy one for them.  :)

  3. it is called a chichi blanket and can be found at Target or stores like that

  4. Here, these are the original blankets with tags:

  5. You can also buy these at etsy.com just type in taggies and a whole bunch of stuff comes up. They have cute pillows, blankets and clothes with tags! Most of them are much cheaper then the ones in the stores. Good luck!

  6. my sister has that habit she sucks her tumb with her (gola) ( dats what we call it) :)  depend where you live i have seen them in lots of shops in ireland smiths toystore any baby shop and whats great about them is htey wash well . its a cute habit, when my sister first started i remember my mam had to sow lots of tads on  to a few  different blankets so she could wash them

  7. I SEEN THESE AT BABIES R US THEY HAD 2 SIZES..I ONLY LOOKED AT THE PRICE OF THE SMALLER ONE(14INCHES X 14INCHES) AND THE PRICE WAS $20 DOLLARS.. OUCH.. THEY HAD THEM IN THE SECTION WHERE THEY SOLD THE CARDS AND BABY BOOKS ..I THINK IT WAS A NEW ITEM

  8. These are the only ones I know of.  I've just bought one for my 6 mth old daughter and she loves it.

  9. Why don't you make one you could go to the Fabric store and buy some tags there because they sell those kinds of items so that people can put their names on them or you can cut all the tags from your old clothes and sew them onto the blanket but make sure to do an extra good job because you don't want those tags coming off when he's chewing on them because you don't want him to choke.

  10. Evalee's mom is right.  Taggies is the name brand of them.  I have seen *generic* brands of them at both Target and Walmart, however, the blanket part of them were not as soft and nice as the Taggies one.  My daughter has a small taggie blanket and LOVES it.  It washes up very nicely.
