  1. Little red Hen,   Empires new clothes

  2. Depending on the ages, I have some puppets that are of the familiar ones---Little Red Riding Hood, 3 Little Pigs, etc.  There are usually between 4-7 puppets per story.  I let the children hold up the puppets as I tell the story.  Once they are really familiar with it you can let them "dress" the part and pretend to do it.  I think doing very familiar stories will help them become successful doing plays.  Good luck.  My puppets are also flannelboard ready with velcro on the backs of them so the children tell the story on there also.

  3. small children..?? how small..??

if they was in the age of 3 to 5.. better not to give them some toys like flurry things.. example, teddy bears.. and so on. Try some cookery toys for girls and car toys for boys..??

if they was in the age of 6 to 8.. bicycle with two big wheels and two little wheel behind..?? barbie dools..??

age of 9 and so on.. depends what they wanna play then..~

    because they are growing up..~!

    good luck..!

  4. It depends on your aim and purpose. You can use role-playing

More practical to write the play yourself to suit the needs of small children.

  5. Maybe you could find a song or some nursery rhymes they can sing and have characters, costumes and actions to go along with it.  Or what about a version of goldilocks and the three bears?

  6. you can act miss polly had a dolly or three bears

maybe songs that you can change into a play ,it will be easyer for the children because they wont go to long

  7. I own a drama company for children.

    1.  3 little pigs, but improv it the first time. Set up 3 chairs, when the wolf blows down the house, the piggy runs to second chair, etc.  We added so much to our presentation, one piggy had allergies and sneezed all the time, we pantomined building the houses by turning and turning the chairs around....and all the little piggies kept interrupting the narrator with funny questions, etc.....can't give away too much, we made a great script out of it.

    2.  "Why mosquitos Buzz in Peoples Ears".....this is easily adapted into a play, and has lots of parts for many children. Plus easy to memorize.

    3.  "Twas the Night Before Christmas"...again, make it your own. Our Rudolph had a cold, Santa was late, the kids weren't in kerchifs but in sombreros.....

really any recognizable story, and 'change it', the kids love the deviation, learn to improv, and the parents just LOVE seeing their children acting.
