I'm trying to find the value of a military pocket watch

I have a gold flip open pocket watch. It is old, probably from ww 2. The face of the watch is a US Navy insignia with the eagle and shield and it says UNITED STATES NAVY.It is embossed gold with a fob chain and clip. Does anyone have any knowledge of antique watches, that could tell me the approximate value of this watch.

It sounds like the ones sold at Things Remembered. They go for around $75.

I would try taking a digital picture of it and introduce it on Ebay. Even if you don't sell it, there is a whole section devoted to pocket watches there, and someone would be able to help you. Good luck.
