First book: an otter travels down a river on a large boat. He is pestered by a clumsy frog on a bike who keeps on crashing/falling off, and the boat encounters a huge storm, meets with a young otter who cannot swim and other random things I simply can no longer remember. It was a large, hard back illustrated book, and the front cover had a picture of the otter, the frog and possibly a further animal peering out of a porthole window.

Second book: a family cannot decide on where to go on holiday, so they create a holiday environment on their roof using sand, water and assorted extras. Seagulls were involved somewhere. This is a fairly slim illustrated book.

The third book is a little more fuzzy in my memory, and all I can remember is a large hardbacked book, illustrated, with a story about animals living in a large house in a forest - possiby another otter, not sure if this has something to do with my first book query.

Many thanks everyone
