I have paypal and have bought things using it but what is the paypal address (not mailing address) that I give them to recredit my account?

Is it my actual email address or user name or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  1. If the seller has agreed to give you a refund, the seller will have a link at the bottom of the transaction details page that will enable that seller to directly refund the money you sent. If the seller is trying to send you money rather than refund it, you will get charged a percentage of the amount received for receiving money. If you are happy for the seller to send you the money rather than refund it, it is your email address that you use to receive notification emails from PayPal that you will need to provide the seller.

  2. If you paid him by Paypal then he doesn't need any information. On his side there will be a refund link corresponding to your sent transaction.

  3. It is the email address you used when you created your paypal account
