I'm trying to get a train to to uxbridge but it won't show up in the national rail website?

it says theyre a railway station in uxbridge so why can't i see the train station on the website as to location!

anyhelp would be useful

  1. If you use the National Rail Enquiries website to plan your journey, uxbridge is recognised as a destination.

    The reason it is not on the rail network maps is that it is on the Underground. It is in the top left of the Underground map (on the end of the Metropoliton line).


  2. That is because Uxbridge is on the Underground. If coming from the south, take the Network Rail train to Wimbledon. Change, take the District Line to Edgware Road. Change again, take the Circle Line to Baker Street. Change once more to the Metropolitan Line which will take you to Uxbridge.

    Approaching London from other directions all the main stations have Underground connections so it is possible to change and get to Uxbridge from any of them. E.g. Kings Cross+St Pancras and Liverpool Street are on the Metropolitan Line, Paddington  is on the Circle, etc.
