My current enclosure has three back panels, 2 side curtains, 3 panels for front of boat and the canvas top. Three back panels all have screens with zippers. I just don't want to be ripped off on the price.

  1. wow... this is so funny .... we just had one come back from the canvas shop, it cost $ 2400.00 the person who owns the boat didnt even blink an eye at the price.....

  2. I had the same done on my 32 ft cruiser with 11 ft beam last summer up in the Thousand Islands area of  NY state.  It cost $2600  using the existing frames  from my old tops.  I only have  a screen in my back panel - none on the sides.   This seemed to be a reasonable price to me.

I obtained several estimates first and checked into the  reputation of each, which I highly recommend.  I didn't go with the lowest price (which was around $2400)  because I found several people who were unhappy with their work .

This is a big investment, so you may be better off to pay a little more and get it done right.
