  1. Yes.

Easiest way to explain is this.

Have a DVD player? Hook up RCA plugs from the sound output on DVD unit to CD RECORDER'S sound input. Record. Done.

If you don't have access to a CD recorder then you could use a tape recorder. If you have a tape player in the auto than you could use it.

If you have to have a CD than you could use your P.C.

Most operating systems like windows XP, etc. have a sound recorder included with them. Learn to use it, learn how to extend recording time to allow you to record your audio. Make sure you have the settings correct on the software so it gets the sound signals from the place you have the plug(s) hooked into. If you have another audio recording program on your PC you could use it.

    Back to the DVD player.

You might need a RCA plug set that is RCA on 1 end & the proper plug type to fit what ever your hooking it to on the other end.

Same thing from your dvd player to your tape recorder to your pc.

    Or dvd player to pc

On the tape recorder and/or pc,,,,It may not say "input" it may say MIC or Microphone.

FYI, this method could be used for almost all audio recordings concerning video tapes, LP's, CD's, cassette tapes, etc.

It May sound difficult it's not. It's is easy.

    Good Luck.

  2. the easiest way is to get a program. if you have a dvd drive on your pc then just download some audio recording software. like http://www.dvd-mp3.org/ which is a free dvd to mp3 ripper. after that you can use a regular cd burning software like roxio or anything that will make a music cd. even windows media player. just select the newly created .mp3 file.
