Question:

I'm trying to hold my breath for 2 minutes but it's impossible! My record is 1 minute and 45 seconds help!

  1. It should get better with practice. The more cardio you do should help too. Just keep trying to hold it for as long as you can, it should get better.


  2. When you breath, try not to let your breath out for as long as possible. When you do, then try to let it out as slowly as possible.

  3. The key is practice more. Try to let go your mind & relax. You'll see the difference.

  4. well a quick way to gain 15 seconds is when you exhale after the 1:45 mark exhale really slowly, and hold it when you are fully exhaled, easy 15 seconds.

    i did this at school last year all the time. i think my record is like 2:45 lol but then i swim everyday so i have decent cardio and i would do this for like every boring class period

    hold breath - rest till heart rate goes down and then repeat in cycles

  5. haha, nice. keep working at it and you'll get it eventually.

    try running, it really helps with breath control, and you could do breath control while swimming too.

    work at it, you'll eventually succeed!
