I'm trying to plan a church party...any original ideas??

The party will be in September for about 100 people. Mainly men will attend, but there will be women as well. Age ranges from about 30-65 years old. Party will be in Indianapolis, but most of our attendees will be from out of state.

Why not theme the party around the 65 year olds?  There were some great shows, ideas, music all going on around the time these folks were living it up, and the censorship of the time would be appropriate for a chruch function. Old people are always complaining about how things used to be, and this will give the young people a chance to participate in something unique -- a treat for everyone.  

Gear it towards the 50's or 60's tapping into some of the great films, stars, tv shows, and music from that era.  Many women's fashions are going back to these times these days, so they would blend in.
