actual training on the 7th. I got a letter in the mail that said they were gonna ship him to his AIT on either September 12th or 13th and he starts on the 15th. So... does that mean that his graduation from Benning will be on the 12th??

If you have any idea when the graduations are scheduled or anything please let me know. I need to get my plane ticket and hotel room reserved now while it's cheaper. Also...I live in California and Benning is in Georgia so I have a long way to go... very expensive if I wait too long.

I only am familar with Basic Training graduations. My son graduated from Ft. Benning in May 2006. Thursday was the turning blue ceremony and Friday was the actual graduation. Can you call the base to confirm the dates?

My boyfriend begun basic training the same time at Fort Sill.  Family day is scheduled for September 11 and his graduation is on the 12th.  He also starts AIT on September 15 at Fort Bliss.
