  1. Get her some books on the subject.  There are several about little girls learning to use the potty.  If she's not taking to it, give some more time.  Begin again when she starts telling you when she needs to go.

  2. Straight into panties NEVER GO BACK TO DIAPERS OR PULL UPS! Rewards for going...dance and be silly when she does it...Let her pick her own panties!! Tell her how much neat things she gets to do as a big girl!!!

  3. Find the potty movie with Bear and the big blue house. It helped my daughter pretty quick

  4. It's horrible, our daughter is 4 and just now accident free, for the most part. Diet, constipation, fear, and many other factors come into play for each child.

We LOVE watching the Elmo potting training DVD, as well as some other poting training DVD's.

Let your child pick out a small potty just for them, and let them get comfortable with it, try it out with your encouragement, and BE PATIENT. :) Let them pick out some undies too, like Power Rangers and Spider Man for boys, or whatever for girls.

Accidents will happen, but we prefer they don't. Good luck!

  5. saw this lady online called herself the potty whisperer and she said she does potty bootcamp and feeds the kids salty food and plenty of juice to make them need to go but has them wear underwear and clean up thier own messes and swears it works wonders...i am planning to go that way with my youngest...every kid is different though and some train in 3 days and some take as long as a year.

i had better luck with stickers on a chart for DD and mini M&M candies with DS as a reward for going in the chair...

    good luck !!

  6. you give her a treat when she does it because your childs not interested if she doensnt get anything out of it so reward her if she does 2 isnt to young to potty train so ignore people when they say that also lots of soda shell drink it because she want it to quench her thirst but it wont so shell want more anyway shell have to pee alot so then she can practice using the potty

  7. here are some ways my daughter used

    the evrybody poops book

    the everybody poops movie

    (found at local library)

let her know that every one goes potty(:))

and itll hit her well enough for her to notice every one does pooop

  8. sit her on the potty and tell her ull give her a cookie if shes goes

  9. I think that you need to try to have other children around that are already trained. she will probably try to do what they are doing.

  10. try doing what I did:

when you are about to change her pamper, prentend that you when to grab a pamper but, guess what we don't have any more in the house,so we have to wait untill later to go and get more.

  11. 2 is a bit early try again at 2and a  half but take her with you all the time and show her how its done she will have no problems but dont pressure.

  12. Take her with you and praise yourself when you use the potty and show what you did and then sit her on her potty and say ok now your turn....and make it like a fun game and reward her and praise her afterwards it worked for my sisters 3 now grown girls......give her  her favorite treat each time and it will become easier and easier......good luck

  13. Until she is interested, you will have a hard time, i would wait until she gives you signs that she is ready.

  15. EGt like some polly pockets our w/e small item little girls are into and then she gets it every time  she does it right

  16. i use to poor water in my son's potty ans say wee wee and i also use to sit on it but never done a wee i used water he was only 17 months old when he was using the potty i had a teddy chair one and it was great as he use to sit on it and think it was fun.

  17. My pediatrician told me that we don't really "train" kids, they "train" themselves, so if she isn't in to it, it might be best to hold off for a few months and then try again. The doc also said that if you push too hard too fast it'll take even longer. Have patience, it'll happen.

  18. Sticker chart, jelly bean for every time she uses the potty and books on how "big kids" use the potty.....

Jelly beans have been the most effective for us.  Every time she uses it, act like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread!

  19. you could:

Introduce the potty to your child

    Have potty be accessible

And then gradually teach her to use it.

    hold regular practice sessions

reward her with things such as stickers or candy or whatever works for her

    chart her progress

Gradually transition from diapers to potty to underwear.

    sorry, that's all i've got!

  20. Cheerio's in the toilet works for boys, you could try it for your girl.  Ready, Aim, Fire.

  21. Wait until she's 3. It's another year of diapers but both of my kids (now 11 and 13) were potty trained in ONE DAY. My daughter woke up on her 3rd birthday, I told her that big 3 year olds don't wear diapers and to pick out a pair of "big girl" pants and that was it. No accidents, no frustration! Seriously!
