I'm trying to recieve a scholarship from a financial standpoint as a cosmetologist? HELP!?

well i'm a student studying cosmetology, and have been considered for a scholarship in the cosmetic industry. the board has asked me to write an essay from a financial standpoint point of view..

does anyone know how i can write this essay? suggestions, ideas.

Do you mean that they want you to discuss how this scholarship will effect you financially?

Well I would think about all the things that students need money for. But don't think about the obvious reasons... more so the ones that people over look. Like if you are a student who commutes... Gas money is crazy expensive. That will definitely effect you pocket. Be creative. Groceries are something that people also don't consider. Think outside the box about things that we have to pay for every day and we don't ever realize. Yeah, they know we need money for tuition and books... but get creative and tell them there is a lot more that students need money for.
