I'm trying to reformat my computer....?

I'm trying to reformat my computer and every time I put the disk that came with the computer"E-Machines T6524" it's not acting like it's reading it cuz nothing happens when I reboot. Can anyone help???? I've tried everything that I know to do but no luck.....

    The first thing you have to look at is for a booklet that came with your system.

    You have a set of restore disks, but you also may have a special F11 function at boot time that allows you to completeely restore the system at the "brand new" state.

  2. try changing the boot priority from bios this should definitely work or else there's something wrong with ur disc

  3. your going to want to go into the bios and make sure that the CD drive is first in the boot order and to get into the bios you just press what ever key it says at the beginning to go into setup normally the delete key or one of the f keys

  4. Try putting the disk into the drive then shut the computer off, then turn it back on in a couple of tics. That's what's known as a "Cold Boot". The disk should run. You might have to change the drive order in your BIOS also. Make the DVD/CD drive the first drive to boot to. Hit the Esc key before windows boots to get to the BIOS.
