  1. there are a couple of ways , one is to scrape them with a scraper, will use a lot of blades and hard on your body,

    the second is to rent a drum sander, it will take off the glue and some of the finish, you will have to change the sandpaper a few times but is a lot less hard on the body, the downside of this method is dust

  2. They sell a scraper with a big pole.  I give that to my helpers when they need to clean out old stuff.  If u want to fix up the hardwood floor...they have heavy duty sanders that pros use to sand down the floor so that it looks new again.  Than u varnish the bare wood with the shade u want.

  3. Paint scraper and one of those hot air guns as used to remove paint, similar to a hairdrier.

  4. I'd pay to have the installer remove it, but that's me LOL
