I'm trying to restore the tray at the bottom of my screen and then to install a toolbar

It used to be there and I could add short cut buttons for Word, Excel, etc. so that I could open them without returning to my desktop. somehow the tray disappeared and I don't know how to restore it. Please help. thank you.

To restore the task bar, move your mouse to the bottom edge of the screen, if the cursor change from a white arrow to a small black arrow, then click and drag upwards, the bar will be there again.

Sometime the bar might be move to the sides or the top inadvertently, in that case you have to move your mouse to the sides/top to see if the white arrow cursor changed to small black arrow, click and drag towards the center of the screen to set its width again. Then if you want to move the task bar back to bottom, click and drag blank area of bar towards the bottom and release.
