I am only 16 years old and want to make it local. I am not even sure if this is going to work out because I am so young. Also, I am not 100% fully sure for what cause I want to work for so if you have any ideas or really inspirational stories, please share them with me!

  1. Volunteer for some organizations and learn what it would take to start and manage an organization. I'll give you all the sites that tell you how to start an organization, but you won't get any backing unless you have experience yourself working at organizations, either as a volunteer or a staff person.

Before you file any paperwork, you need to get a very impassioned group of people together who support your idea and will provide some start up funding and serve on the board of directors, you need to get letters of endorsement from existing organizations saying this program is needed,  you need to have data that shows your target group is in need whatever service it is that you want to provide and that they are not served otherwise, you need to have profiles of your staff showing they have experience and expertise, and you need to have a draft of what your first year's budget would look like (what expenses you expect to incur, what you expect to pay staff, etc.)

  2. im not assuming you mean a church, any organization can be started by individuals who come together to achieve a common goal.the keys are coming together and common goal.Once your organization becomes substantial then you can determine which route to take to become legally recognized as an organization.but for the purpose of just being an organization with no liability, treat it like when you were a kid and everyone shared a clubhouse.
