I'm trying to watch tv through my home theatre system and the sound is not coming through the speakers.

There are no inputs on the dvd only outputs. Can someone out there help?

You need to give more info on your setup but there are always inputs on any hometheater receiver including " home theater in a box" types.Find an input on the receiver and plug the output of the tv or cable box into it and make sure the receiver is set to that corresponding input.

make sure you have audio receiver set to right input.
