Where is a good place these days where they play commercial dance, retro, old school beats that is classy?

If I decide to do something else, any other suggestions as to what i could do..eg

karoke

bowling

go to the beach and have a bbq

anything else?

Also where is a good resturant in Melbourne that you can suggest that is middle range priced, but great food and great atmophere?
