I'm unable to delete a mobile bluetooth paired device from my PC..?

What to do to delete it? It doen't respond and hangs up everytime i try.

It gives a message saying install new hardware!

  1. You must force Device Manager to show "Hidden or Ghosted" devices using a hack, google this: "devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices"

    After doing this, go to Non Plug & Play devices in Device manager, locate that particular Bluetooth driver, right click on it and set it on "Manual" mode.

    Reboot, Get inside Device Manager once again and delete the pesky driver.
