  1. Then you need to step out of your box and venture in this new business.  Without knowing what your business is, I don't know how to go about helping you.  Are you talking about a traditional business, a home based business, and Internet (which is also considered home based) or what?  What industry are you looking into getting involved in and having your business in?  Without knowing these questions, it's difficult to help you out.  Maybe you should edit your question and add a detailed message to what your idea is or if your looking for an ideas.  Without this specific question, it would be a violation of the community guidlines of Yahoo to try and help without knowing if that's what you want.

  2. First, you have to have a business plan. It takes time a lot of research. I am a stay-at-home mother of 2. My husband and I were planning to start our own business, but we had to see what our passions were. I love to be on the internet, working on computers, plus I had to do something that was flexible, so I could give attention to the kids. We finally found something that is working pretty well. Check this out, out might get some ideas from it. www.income4alifetime.ws

  3. Take your business idea to 7 people you know and don't know and share with them what you want to do. Take both barrels by listening to their input. Do not try and explain, justify or be rightous (which usually is one protecting themself from rejection). When you do this....you will naturally get to your next step. It has to be 7 otherwards it is to easy.

  4. Do your research.  Is there a market for your business (product or service?) Do people want it or need it?

    Write a business plan.

Why are you going into business?  What do you want to get out of it?

  5. Go for it!

    Life's about taking chances.

If you're selling that that would be useful, I'm sure you'll do fine.
