I have 1 HD wif 5 partitions. and I have ARES P2P. My Shared Folder is on the other extended partitions. i suspected it might be in the other partitons n spread when open the other ext partitions. I tried to Ctrl Alt Delete but it's not working everytime. So, the only thing i can do is REstart the computer. but the problem is it will keep on coming in 10 min or 15minutes even without internet connection. Hope anyone there can help me. thanks in advance.

  1. This sounds like a virus or spyware. The clue here is that Ctrl Alt Del is disabled, which many spyware programs do. Try running Ad-Aware, Spybot, and AVG Antispyware. Then, I'd install and run AVG Antivirus. If you have any existing protection, you might try and run it, but whatever it is, is likely disabled by the offending program, or simply not detected by it.

    **UPDATE**

Kaspersky is good, but doesn't catch everything. Some spyware/virus problems are nor fixable by do-all antivirus scanners, and need a special program that does nothing but get rid of that specific problem, and/or special instructions to follow. If Kaspersky, or ad-aware or spybot can identify something that keeps coming back, search for it by name, and you should find the way to remove it.
