I'm using daisys for my wedding - how many should go in the bridal and bridesmaid's boquets?

I don't want one of those humungo ball looking boquets, and I'd like fairly small ones for the bridesmaids - I'm buying the flowers and my cousin is tying them.... What do you think?

I'm using gerbera daisies, and planned to use twelve for the bridal bouquet and six for the bridesmaids. I am forgoing a floral bouquet now, and am having a felt and button one made by Princess Lasertron on Etsy. Lasting and gorgeous, and the bridesmaids will still carry six of the real thing.

you should have 12 bridesmaids-6 [[i have always known that to be traditional]]

the color that you wrap them in depends on the color of the flower itself like i would have the ribbon be the color of the center of the daisy [[like i have always known the middle of a daisy to be yellow so thats what color i would make the ribbon]] and if you dont wanna do that then i would just do either green or whatever your color scheme is.

i think that it would be really cute if [[on your bouquet]] if you took to pieces of ribbon lets say either pastel...green/yellow and one white and sort of twist them together but not messy and then tie it in a bow (its kinda hard for me to explain what i mean)

i really think that you should do what you wanna do because if people dont like the ribbon, flowers, ANYTHING else  then oh well because its your day and the wedding would be going on no matter what they say.

The best person to ask is your florist who is supplying the flowers.  There are different size and types of daisies (Gerbera daisies are very large and come in may colors, while white daisies are much smaller) and it may depend on the time of year and what their shipment looks like.  Just make sure you are very clear with them on what you want.  

Since you are making the bouquets yourself, again, it would depend on the size of the daisies.  You could tie them up using ribbon of the same color as your bridesmaid dresses.  Good luck!

My DiL's daisy bouquet was slightly bigger than her maids but all we did was bunch 5 or 6 together & added a bow.

The amount of flowers will depend on the size of the blooms; the smaller the flower the more it will take.

I think you should have 12 and then 6 for the bridesmaid depending on your color you should wrap the color in your wedding ribbon around the stem of your bridesmaids and a different color whether white or not but a different color to help you stand out. let a little string from the ribbon hang down a little though it'll make it look eligant. I hope your using fake flowers though they will last forever.
