  1. Good Luck! Plan to have flexibility. Things change often depending on your progression. When you think of questions, write it down to ask your doctor later. Try to have some things to keep you busy so that you don't obsess about everything. If you are not taking a prenatal vitamin already start immediately! I started eating a diet very high in protein, almost no sugar, and no caffeine. I drank gatorade which is suppose to help with OHSS. I also took an 81mg asprin daily to increase blood flow to ovaries and uterus.

  2. You will be fine.

it is an emotional trip so be prepared.

The hormones can make you a bit emotional and your tummy will get a bit bigger when your ovaries grow so loose clothes are good.

Also try to keep yourself busy so that yoru not thinking about it too much.

Try to find a few IVF web sites like IVF world and Bub hub - people on those sites know exactly what you are going through.  I would recommend you ask this question on one of those sites to give you some reassurance.

Good luck and I hope it works for you.

I am currently 3 days after an embryo transfer and in my two week wait.

  3. sorry... i got no advice.. just wanted to say good luck!

  4. My cycle was cancelled because I didn't respond to the drugs after being shot up with Lupron. You should ask your RE what are the chances this could happen to you. Also ask what are your chances of your IVF cycle being successful on the first try. Good Lock

  5. I'm also going to undergo I/V.

I'm excited and nervous at the same time!

This will make my marriage more complete once my DH and I have our 1st child, God willing.

Oh and btw, hun, there's a new invention called spell checker; it's best to use it once in a while, k?
