I know this is something strange. And also, I do agree that i cant get the practical knowledge (whether it is Cadaver dissection in studying Anatomy, or Histological examination with microscopes) as provided in Medical Universities for proper medical students. But, is there any possibility for me to get the course materials taught by a typical medical university?? I hope if I can be provided with that, will use it to improve my knowledge in (theoritical) Medicine.

  1. I checked out books from a college library when I needed to brush up on a few things for a job, and I also had the option of purchasing textbooks used in their courses, so yes, you can get actual course materials.  Of course you're not getting the same experience as someone who actually goes through all the classes, but I also agree that you can gain quite a lot of very useful knowledge in this manner.  The Internet is also a good source of a lot of this information.  Hospitals also have libraries with an abundance of all things medical, and the library staff usually have a certain amount of medical knowledge and can be very helpful getting you started.  Good luck!

  2. Go to a University Bookstore, and purchase Grey's Anatomy, Grant's Atlas of anatomy, Harrison's text book of medicine,

Anderson's Pathology ( two- big and little) You can get them used. Now, the challenge will be to learn enough to understand them.
